Yarn happened

I'm branching out from rovings and batts, and will also be dyeing millspun yarns.  In the next couple of weeks there will be a number of OOAK skeins as I play with different yarn bases.

My son helped 'model' the yarns.

Here is one called 'Aqua' -  100g of superwash Merino and nylon sock yarn. (It sells for R115 in SA, and $18.50 to other countries)
Aqua has sold.  Contact me, and I'll do you a similar skein or two :)

I also did a skein like this in dk weight, but my eldest claimed it :)

I call this base yarn 'Selkie' - it's a silk/seacell mix fingering yarn.  The kids and I decided to call this 100g kein 'Petunia'.

This is a lovely luxury yarn, and is available as two 50g balls for R140 ($22) each.  If you want both balls, there's a discount, and 100g costs R240 ($38).

I have been getting amazing mileage out of my indigo vat.  I love the richness of the blues I get from it.  I found that the dress I dyed in it is fading gently, just like my favourite jeans did.

This skein is is called 'Soft Jeans', and is 220g of Merino superwash fingering yarn. It's huge, and selling for R230 ($36.50).

This is me happening to a ball of Vinni's Bambi  - 50g of Organic cotton and bamboo.  This ball is called 'My Favorite Jeans', and similar ones will sell for R60 ($10). A Friend is test-knitting this one for me!

As always I'll combine shipping, and charge you the actual shipping cost :)  Shipping to the US costs $10.50 for the first skein, and possible additional $5 for more than one.  Any postage overcharges will be refunded after I mail your parcel.

I'm easily found as emtempest on Ravelry, and at the same name on gmail.
